Cayuco Maya is a great environment to be in if you are needing to have a break from the city. The setting is tranquil and peaceful, right by the lagoon which you can swim in. You can use the kayaks canoes, paddleboards and snorkeling equipment for free. Breakfast is provided and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients. There are different types of lodging. There's the 2 bedroom geodesic dome where we stayed at. The rooms are clean and comfortable and they provide cleaning everyday if requested.
I absolutely adored this place. Don’t expect an actual beach club, what you’ll find is much better. A big open waterfront space where you can find one of their chill spots or situate yourself on the grass. The food is amazing, very inventive and I had plenty or vegetarian options to choose from. I loved the aguacate taco and the vegetarian tostada. Everything is very well priced and you can stay as long as you like, but I’d recommend to stay until the sunrise
Breathtaking and unforgettable vacation spot at this unique, quaint family owned paradise. We rented a canoe and kayac to cross they lagoon to some private channels, camped in a tent, also used some hammocks to sleep peacefully overnight. The restaurant has exactly what you need to have a balanced and delicious meal. Highly recommended!
Lovely hut in front of the lagoon! Very welcoming personnel, excellent food. Very quiet and calm. Just be advised that to get here you need to drive on an unpaved and bumpy trail for about 15 mins. Also, there is no warm water. If you are ok with that, it's a fantastic place far away from the crowds! Perfect to relax:)
An interesting place on the Laguna. I did a self tour and was interested in all of the different building techniques. The water access is unreal but it makes me wonder where all the mangrove went... There is a large homemade sign to ensure you don't pass the place, which is nice and the road in is ok as well the grounds are well kept. There is a large cement dock. Which isn't very comfortable, but clean and gives you access to good swimming depths. The camping is comfortable and the mosquitos aren't too bad...
I didn't stay in a room but definitely regret it. This place is absolutely gorgeous i would definitely come back to stay here. The service was great the food was delicious. I'll definitely have to find my way back here.
Beautiful view, calming atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, kajaks/sup free to use. I would definitely recommend this place!
I loved it!! Will stay here again next time. If you’re looking for comfort and commodity this is not the place for you, but that is the atracción of this place, you’ll get disconnected and in touch with nature. Very relaxing place.
